Many of us have been inspired by Steven Hirshorn’s book ’Three Sigma Leadership - or the way of the chief engineer’. In this workshop we want to further probe the subject by sharing experiences in Technical leadership related topics with Steven acting as our guide and supervisor. For participating you need to bring yourself along with a story of a situation where you experienced a challenging situation where you, a colleague or your team had to act in a technical leadership role. Moreover, you should trace the experience to the relevant chapter in the Three sigma leadership book.

Pre-workshop preparation:

Prepare to recount a short story of a challenging situation which required you, a colleague or your team to take on a technical leadership role.  The story shall cover (and take at most 15 minutes to present)

- Background to the situation (your team and your role)

- Description 

- The outcome

- Trace the outcome to the relevant chapters in the Three sigma leadership book.
